2017 Auckland Classic - Sunday 12 March 2017

| Karatedo Shitokai sent a team of 10 to the Auckland Classic It was a round robin event, a first and l think it went well. It was well run by Karate Auckland and our team went very well,we should all be proud of them. Altogether, we won 8 Gold, 8 Silver, 3 Bronze and finished fourth on medal table out of 16 clubs.

2017 Sugihara Cup - Auckland - 25th, 26th February 2017

| Over the weekend Amber Rose competed in the Sugihara Cup. A tournament run by Fushin Ryu karate, it is an International event with overseas competitors. Amber got fourth in Kata that she had only recently learnt, so an extremely good effort. In Kumite she got Silver, losing to an Australian girl in the final. Brilliant result ,well done Amber the club is very proud of you.

2016 Auckland Primary and Intermediate School Championships - 13th November 2016

| It was the last tournament of the year and we took 8 competitors. Our team brought home 9 medals, 1 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, a good day. | Auckland Open Karate Championships was held on 21st August 2016 at the Auckland Netball Centre, Stonefields, Auckland.
Karatedo Shitokai had two students head down to Auckland to compete in the Auckland Championships with London-Rose Gould and Yvette Hendrikse competing. London-Rose in 6-7 years Kata and Kumite and Yvette in the 14-15 years girls Kata and Kumite.
