![]() 2016 Ingural Mabuni Tournament 27th - 28th 2016
We got Seven Kata medals and Nine Kumite Medals. Yvette got Bronze in Kata, silver in Kumite. Olivia Silver in Kata and Bronze in Kumite. Bruno Silver in Kumite and Bronze in Kata. Tyla Gold in Kumite and Bronze in Kata. Kristy Silver in Kumite and Silver in Kata. London-rose Gold in Kumite and Bronze in Kata. Oliver Bronze in Kata. Hazel Bronze in Kumite. Amber Silver in Kumite. Zak, Reilly and Mathias didn’t medal but performed very well. As a club our fighting is improving with Amber and London-Rose battling out the final of the 6-7 yr. girls in what was a skillful and close fight. London-Rose winning on referees decision. Our Kata still needs to improve with the standard around NZ reaching a very high standard. It was a great tournament and we look forward to the second one in two years’ time. ![]() Medal Winners ![]() Shitokai New Zealand Competing Team | Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand
