| The 2016 Northland Open was held in Whangarei on the 15th May. This year our club donated
a Bob Dalton Memorial Cup to go to the winning club on the day. It was

| This year DAN grading’s, held in Whangarei Honbu on the 7th November 2015 was touched with both joy and remembrance, this being the first DAN grading since the passing of Sensei Bob Dalton earlier this year and also being the largest grading so far in Karatedo Shitokai history.
