This year there were three students grading for 3rd Kyu, three for 1st Kyu, and two students grading for Nidan. I am happy to report that all passed with flying colours. Yvette represented New Zealand in 12/13 girls Kata and won Bronze. It was a very pleasing result for Yvette, as this was her first year of serious competition.
