 2015 New Zealand Nationals and Secondary School Championships 11th July 2015
 

   
The 2015 New Zealand Nationals had around 150 competitors this year and Karate Do Shitokai had three of their members (Nicky Roberts, Evette and Olivier) competing in kata divisions.
 
Shitokai have always been represented at the Nationals and Secondary Schools and although our numbers were down this year, we still achieved a 100% success rate with all three members obtaining medal ...

2015 Auckland and Secondary Schools Champs - Sunday 14th June 2015 
 

   
On Sunday 14th June a small team from Shitokai New Zealandi attended the Auckland Champs and the Auckland and Northland Secondary Schools.

2015 Northland Open - Sunday 10th May 2015
 

 A very well run tournament put on by Karate Auckland, a huge thank you must go to Sensei Murray Simpson for bringing the tournament to Northland, this allowed many of our students the chance to compete at home in front of a home crowd. 2015 Hamilton Open - Sunday 29th March 2015

2014 Shitokai New Zealand DAN Grading - Saturday 13th December 2014
 
Karatedo Shitokai held its annual end of year gradings on Saturday 13th December at honbu dojo. This year there were three students grading for 3rd Kyu, three for 1st Kyu, and two students grading for Nidan.

2014 Northland Secondary Schools Sports Awards
 
Sensei Bob, along with one of his young students woke up this morning feeling a little better after a successful evening at the NSSSA dinner at Kensington Stadium.

2014 Oceania Championships, FIJI

Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand had one of its up and coming youngsters, Yvette Hendrikse in the New Zealand team to the 2105 Oceania Karate Champs in Fiji recently. Yvette represented New Zealand in 12/13 girls Kata and won Bronze. It was a very pleasing result for Yvette, as this was her first year of serious competition.
