This year there were three students grading for 3rd Kyu, three for 1st Kyu, and two students grading for Nidan. I am happy to report that all passed with flying colours. Olivia Crum who last year acheived her Jnr Shodan last night won the Female Karate code award in her first year at high school. All in all a good year ... full ![]() 2014 Oceania Championships, FIJI Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand had one of its up and coming youngsters, Yvette Hendrikse in the New Zealand team to the 2105 Oceania Karate Champs in Fiji recently. Yvette represented New Zealand in 12/13 girls Kata and won Bronze. It was a very pleasing result for Yvette, as this was her first year of serious competition. Olivia also competed in the NZ Secondary Schools championships.
