Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand

Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand had one of its up and coming youngsters, Yvette Hendrikse in the New Zealand team to the 2105 Oceania Karate Champs in Fiji recently. Yvette represented New Zealand in 12/13 girls Kata and won Bronze. It was a very pleasing result for Yvette, as this was her first year of serious competition.

 

Yvette continues Karatedo Shitokai’s proud record of Oceania Champions and medallists in both Kata and Kumite, since the forming of Oceania in the mid 1990’s.

 

Yvette is also Karatedo Shitokai’s youngest ever NZ representative. Well done Yvette!
