Sensei Murray Burns began karate training in 2003 with his son Matt under the tuition of Sensei Bob Dalton.
2006 - Travelled the Shitoryu World Championships in Japan with Sensei Bob Dalton and a small team.
2007 - Awarded Shodan (1st DAN).
2009 - Awarded Nidan (2nd DAN) by Sensei Bob Dalton 7th DAN
Travelled to the Shitoryu World Championships in China with Sensei Bob Dalton and a small team.
2011 - Awarded Sandan (3rd DAN) by Sensei Bob Dalton 7th DAN
2011 - At the request of Sensei Bob, we opened second Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand Karate club in Kamo, Whangarei.
2013 - Awarded Yondan (4th DAN) by Sensei Bob Dalton 7th DAN
2015 - Awarded Godan (5th DAN) by Sensei Bob Dalton 8th DAN
Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand (Kamo) Club has around 25 members and together with my sons Matt (2nd DAN),
Dan (1st DAN) and Nick (1st Dan) assists me with instructing.
Karatedo Shitokai New Zealand closely follow the teachings of Sensei Bob Dalton 8th DAN
